We are incredibly proud of our mountaineers for their perseverance on our White Mountain excursion. We fought off bugs, heat, and fatigue to reach the peak of Zeacliff and were rewarded with a fantastic view of the mountainside and LUNCH! The hike was a scenic 8-mile course that was flat except for a 1-mile stretch of classic White Mountain rock scrambles. We walked through marshes, crossed rivers, passed through fields and stopped at the stunning Zealand Falls for a snack and photo break.

We also ate an epic pizza dinner, had some delicious gourmet ice cream sundaes, spent time shopping in the mountain town of North Conway, NH, and went for a short night hike on the Appalachian Trail that departs straight from our lodge!

Our final stop on our way back to Amherst was at Cranmore Mountain Resort – a winter ski lodge that turns into a summer fun resort with scenic chairlift rides, a mountain coaster and a stomach-churning swing.
