The students had a lovely time exploring the Pioneer Valley this Sunday. We began the morning with a hike up Mount Sugarloaf before traveling to a nearby farm to pick blueberries. We ended the day in Northampton where we visited the Smith College Museum of Art. The museum featured a special exhibit titled Plastic Entanglements that explored the complex relationship our society has with plastic, a material that is so useful, yet so hazardous to the environment.
